Why now

Change got faster. Checking didn’t.

Four things changed at once, and together they make an independent, deterministic check the most valuable layer in a Salesforce estate.

01

AI is writing and configuring faster than anyone can test

Code and configuration now arrive at a velocity nobody has seen before, from humans using AI tools and from agents acting on their own. That work reaches sandboxes and production at the same speed. Testing has not kept pace, and it cannot keep pace by adding people.

02

An AI that tests its own work has a conflict of interest

Give a model the job of building the change and the job of passing the check, and it will find a way to pass: loosen the assertion, work around the failure, or declare success on the wrong evidence. Platform-native agent testing scores semantic similarity, not the resulting org state, which means it can mark a hallucinated answer as passing. The answer is a separate system, deterministic, independent of the thing it checks, that grades the real result in the real org.

03

Salesforce is becoming non-deterministic and agentic

Agentforce, MCP tools, a headless platform: the same process can now be driven by a person in Lightning, by an integration, or by a model deciding on its own. It can break in places admins cannot see, because each door hits a different automation surface. "Passed once" is worthless against a non-deterministic actor. You need repeated, real-environment verification of business outcomes, from someone who is not grading their own homework.

04

The buyer's fear has changed

The enemy is no longer the cost of a testing tool. It is the fear of deploying faster, with agents, into a system of record. Quality is already the number one barrier to agent deployment for a third of organizations. The company that can say "prove it works" in minutes, independently, wins that conversation.

Where the market is going

Our thesis.

Salesforce is pouring its future into Agentforce, Data 360, MCP tools, and a headless platform where agents rather than people do the work. Its own benchmarks show agents succeeding well under two thirds of the time at core CRM tasks, its own testing tool says it is for initial batch testing only, and its pricing for the agentic layer has changed several times in eighteen months. Change velocity is rising and so is blast radius: more actors, more surfaces, orchestration moving outside the org where native guardrails do not reach, and a large share of new code written by AI that teams say they are not confident deploying.

This is a net opportunity, and a large one. The commodity layer of "did the button still work" will be eaten by platform tools and cheap AI. The high-assurance tail, independent, deterministic, outcome-graded, continuous, in the real environment, is where a focused vendor wins, exactly as independent DevOps vendors won beside the native one.

We keep the browser path because it is the moat: nobody else owns a production Lightning runner to diff against. We extend to the API and agent paths because the same Promise must hold whoever, or whatever, performs it. Humans, integrations, and AI: one Promise, one verdict. Milita becomes the independent layer that proves the real business outcome still works, for your clicks and for your agents, every release.

We are not watching this from outside. Release Assurance is an AI-first company: AI coding agents build our own platform at a pace no one person could test by hand, and we trust that work only because every change passes an automated gate and a person's approval before it ships. Milita brings the same discipline to your org.

What that means for you

Three surfaces, one Promise.

Human

A person in Lightning. Built today: Milita drives the real interface as the real role.

Integration

Deterministic code through the API, including MCP tools called directly. Same Promise, different door, so a rule enforced only in the UI shows up as a divergence. On the roadmap.

Agent

A model deciding, inside the org or outside it. Verified by outcome, not by transcript. On the roadmap.

Ship with agents. Release on proof.
