The principle

Never billed for hope.

Only a Proof is counted: one run of a kept Promise that tells you something about your org. A debug, the checks Milita runs while you set up or activate a Promise, and a Proof that fails because of us are never counted. Nothing already proved is ever deleted because you used your Proofs up.

What a Proof is

Every Proof performs the whole process.

In a fresh cloud session, as every person the Promise names, with fresh data, up to 10 minutes of its steps; each further 10 minutes counts as another Proof. Your account shows the Proofs used this month, and the minutes they ran.

Is the free plan really free?
Yes. 3 Promises and 20 Proofs a month, with no card and no time limit, and fair use of 60 runs and 150 Milita turns a month (a turn is one thing you ask Milita, however many steps her answer takes). We’d rather you proved a few processes forever than abandoned a trial.
What counts as a Promise?
A business rule in your own words, the people it covers, and the results that prove it worked. “Discounts above 20% need Finance approval before a quote can be sent” is one Promise. See the glossary.
What counts as a Proof?
One run of a kept Promise, up to 10 minutes of its steps; each further 10 minutes counts as another Proof. Starting and closing the cloud session isn’t counted. A debug, the checks Milita runs while you set up or activate a Promise, and a Proof that fails because of us are never counted: only one that tells you something about your org is. Your account shows Proofs used and minutes run.
What happens if I use my Proofs up?
On a paid plan your Proofs keep running: each further Proof is 10¢ on Starter and 5¢ on Pro and Business, charged to your card after the month ends. Once a cancellation or pause is scheduled, or while a card payment has not gone through, new Proofs pause at the allowance instead, because Proofs past it could not be billed. On Free, new Proofs pause until your next month once its 20 are used; debugs and set-up checks go on until 60 runs of any kind have started that month, which pauses them too, and Milita pauses at 150 turns (a turn is one thing you ask Milita, however many steps her answer takes). Your existing Proofs and evidence stay exactly where they are. Paid plans’ Proof allowances and overage apply from the first month billed in Proofs, which your account’s Usage page shows.
Is a Proof my pipeline starts counted?
On Pro and above, the first Proof of each Promise your pipeline starts through the release gate each day (UTC) is free; any further Proof of that Promise the same day counts as usual. The release gate isn’t part of Free or Starter.
What is a connected environment?
A workspace and the Salesforce sandbox it proves. Pro and Business are priced per environment: add a workspace for each further sandbox and it is charged pro rata from the day you add it. Close one and the charge comes down pro rata the same way. Either way, each environment adds the plan’s Proofs to that month’s allowance pro rata to the days it is open, and the Proofs a closed one already ran that month still count toward it. Free and Starter prove one sandbox.
Can I change plan later?
Yes, in both directions. Until card checkout opens, email hello@releaseassurance.com and we change it for you. In a month you change plan, the allowance is each plan’s, pro rata to the days you held it, and Proofs past it are charged at the lowest overage rate among the paid plans you held that month; a month spent partly on Free adds Free’s 20 Proofs in full, so a Proof Free included is never charged as overage. Do you work with Salesforce consultancies?

Do you offer invoicing?
Monthly on Starter, Pro and Business; Free needs no card. Card checkout opens soon: until then, email hello@releaseassurance.com and we move your workspace to a paid plan. Enterprise is annual and invoiced under your agreement, with purchase orders supported. Contact sales.
How many personas can a Promise use?
As many as the process needs. A handoff between Dana and Maria is two personas in one Promise. Each persona maps to a real non-admin Salesforce user in your sandbox.
