About

Why Release Assurance exists.

Release Assurance is an AI-first company. We build Milita, a Salesforce assurance colleague that proves the business processes companies depend on, and notices when they change.

A note from the founder

Can you say, with certainty, that every critical process in your Salesforce org still works right now? Almost no one can, and that's not negligence. Salesforce simply never tells you when a process quietly breaks.

I didn't start with AI and go looking for a problem. I spent roughly twenty years seeing the same Salesforce problem, and AI finally made a fundamentally different solution possible.

I've worked in the Salesforce ecosystem as an administrator, a developer, a consultant and an architect, including two years inside Salesforce on the Technical Architects team. Across countless implementations, I've seen the same thing happen: a broken process nobody catches until it has already become a financial hit, a compliance exposure, or a customer who never got what they were promised.

I sat the Certified Technical Architect board and did not pass. The board taught me to obsess over how systems actually behave under change. Instead of sitting it again, I built the thing the title was supposed to make me good at.

Milita exists to catch that change first, and to bring proof instead of reassurance.

How we work

AI-first. AI coding agents build the platform; the founder approves every change. How.

Security

Not SOC 2 certified; preparing for a SOC 2 audit covering security and confidentiality. Details.

What we believe

Eight things we will not trade.

Proof beats reassurance.

A process works when it has been shown to work, recently, by someone who did not help it along.

Honesty beats fluency.

When Milita does not know, she says so. The same rule applies to our marketing: a missing feature is labelled, a missing certification is stated as missing.

Quiet is a feature.

A colleague who reports every healthy check trains you to ignore her. One message per fact.

Safety is built in.

Sandboxes only, access you control, evidence that stays private.

Watching never counts.

A demonstration teaches Milita. Only her own clean run proves anything.

Business results, not clicks.

A Promise passes only when the outcomes hold.

No guessed causes.

She shows what changed, when, and what happened between the proofs.

Determinism is the point.

AI decides what to ask and what to build. It never decides whether a Promise held.

Where it came from

It began as a pulse.

The first version was a heartbeat for Salesforce: the founder wrote browser automation for a customer's critical paths, ran it in the cloud on a schedule, and drew the results as a living ECG so you could see at a glance whether the org was still beating. The Vitals page still shows today's runs as a heartbeat strip.

What changed over the next 2,200 pull requests is everything around that pulse: customers author their own coverage without code, a conversational assistant builds and explains it, the authoring surface became a Salesforce-style builder, the unit of value became a Promise rather than a test, the result became a Proof rather than a run, pricing follows that, connecting a sandbox became a guided conversation, and the whole platform was rebuilt around the controls a SOC 2 audit examines, ahead of our first audit.

How we work

AI-first. Problem-first.

Release Assurance is an AI-first company. AI is how we build and run the company, not a project beside it or a feature added to the product. We are AI-first in how we work and problem-first in what we build: Milita exists because of a Salesforce problem twenty years old, not because AI needed somewhere to go.

One person, with AI coding agents he directs, shipped more than 2,200 pull requests in about six months, every one through review, an automated gate, and a merge queue. The agents have their own GitHub identity and their own Google identity. They cannot touch production data, and they cannot approve their own work. The founder approves every change that reaches the main branch, and production deploys only from a release pull request he approves.

We say this plainly because it is also our security story: the same discipline that lets one person run a production platform is what an auditor will examine.

AI-first, in practice

AI does the work. Proof decides.

Being AI-first does not mean trusting AI. It means putting AI at the center of the work and holding every result to evidence: the same rule Milita applies to your org.

AI builds the platform.

AI coding agents write the platform's code, infrastructure, tests and documentation, directed by the founder. More than 2,200 pull requests in about six months.

AI is the product.

Milita is an AI colleague. A model understands what you mean, builds the workflows and the Promise, and explains what she found.

AI works inside the controls.

The agents have their own identities and work in a development project that never holds production data. On production they can read configuration, never customer data.

AI never grades its own work.

An agent cannot approve its own pull request, and a model never decides whether a Promise held. A person approves the change. A real run decides the verdict.

We live the problem we solve. Our own platform is written by AI agents at a pace no one person could test by hand, and we trust it only because every change passes an automated gate and a person's approval before it ships. Salesforce teams now face the same thing as AI tools and agents change their orgs. Milita brings them the discipline we built for ourselves.

Our postures

Stated once, held everywhere.

  • Independent. We are not Salesforce, not a Salesforce partner yet, and not a consultancy. Salesforce and related marks are trademarks of Salesforce, Inc.
  • Sandboxes only, with no exception and no approval path. Production is never connected.
  • Non-admin only. We refuse an admin-level user at connect and before every run.
  • We never upload or run customer code, and customers never upload code to us.
  • AI agents never touch production data and never approve their own work. A person approves every change that ships.
  • We do not claim SOC 2. We are preparing for an audit and will say "certified" only when an independent examination is complete.
  • No invented social proof. Customer names, quotes and numbers appear only with permission.

Work with us from the start.
